Anela is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 140 km north of Cagliari and about 50 km southeast of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 764 and an area of 37.0 km².[1]
Anela borders the following municipalities: Bono, Bultei, Nughedu San Nicolò.
