Healing is a village near Grimsby in North East Lincolnshire, England, between Stallingborough and Great Coates. Its population at the 2001 census was 2,601.
It has two schools, Healing Primary School and Healing Comprehensive. A new estate was built recently[when?] in the village.
The village is served by a post office, fish and chip shop and hairdressers. Access to a payphone is also available. The village is served by Healing railway station, on the Barton-Cleethorpes line, and local buses stop at the village.
The village also has two local men's football teams, and a junior football team, the Healing Hotspurs.
Its name is recorded in the Domesday Book as "Hegelinge" and probably came from Anglo-Saxon Hægelingas = "the sons or followers of a man named Hægel".
