Interchurch Organisation for Development Cooperation (ICCO) - non-profit organization providing assistance to needy communities in organizing sustainable housing and living conditions. Established in 1964 and based in the Netherlands, ICCO recognizes its roots in Dutch Protestant Christian tradition and cooperates in various ecumenical networks.

The Organization works in almost all (50 total)[1] developing countries in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America, the Caribbean, Central and Eastern Europe in such main spheres as basic social services, fair economic development, democratisation & peacebuilding. Its annual turnover is about 125 millions of euro, from which about 2.2 millions on Vietnam[2]. There are 838 partner organizations, 1071 projects financed.

ICCO is financed by the Government of Netherlands and the European Commission.

In October, 2001 the institution in partnership with the World Bank and the Rabobank held conference on Aid, Trade and the Fight Against Poverty.[3]

Staff of employees - 240 (including 170 on permanent basis).

ICCO is a member of ACT Development, a global alliance of churches and related agencies working on development that are committed to working together.
