Instituto Nacional de Estatística

The Instituto Nacional de Estatística is the National Statistical Institute of Portugal. Its headquarters are located in Lisbon. It also calls itself Statistics Portugal in English. The first census in Portugal was carried out in 1864. The census takes place every 10 years, the last was conducted in 2001.
Instituto Nacional de Estatística publishes REVSTAT - Statistical Journal.
