The following is a list of presidents of CAF[1], the African football (soccer) governing body.

‡ Acted for a transitional period from 18 August 1987 following Tessema's death in Addis Ababa following an illness, till 10 March 1988 when the ordinary general assembly was held in Casablanca – Morocco and Issa Hayatou was elected as president of CAF.
