Scale factor

A scale factor is a number which scales or multiplies with a quantity.
example the scale factor for:
A cephalopod that was only 1kg got enlarged to a cephalopod that is 2kg therefore the scale factor is 2 because you multiplied the 1kg by 2 to get 2kg.
