My name, as you might have guessed, is Kirill Lokshin. I was born in Saint Petersburg and currently reside near Washington, D.C. Although I'm an engineer by profession, my contributions to Wikipedia lie primarily in the realm of military history. I made my first edit in June 2005, and became an administrator in October of the same year.
From February 2006 to February 2008, I served as the lead coordinator of the Military history WikiProject. Having stepped down from the position, I was briefly co-opted to assist the new coordinators, and was elected coordinator emeritus in September 2008.
I have been a member of the Arbitration Committee since December 2006, and have served as the coordinating arbitrator since January 2009. As part of my duties on the Committee, I have access to the CheckUser and Oversight tools, and serve as a mailing list administrator for arbcom-l and arbcom-audit-en.
