Hi,
I will probably repeat myself but we simply doesn't the qualified manpower to check for Japanese reliable sources to prove notability. Yes i know it's weird and tried to remedy it but suspect that some qualified people simply don't care about anime & manga :( We may wait for someone qualified forever so we are doing with what we have and must go forward. An article deleted is not a forever condemnation, things may change.
I hope to convince you to still give here and there some help to the project anime/manga as we are heavy burdened with excess of fans who think that more articles the better, more images the better and that every scanlated manga deserved an article on Wikipedia.

I saw in the edit history of List of Touhou Project characters that you thought this particular story from the Kojiki should get an article, but I see that no other stories from the book are articles on Wikipedia. Is this story somehow more notable than all the other stories to deserve its own article? Otherwise, I don't really see a reason why the story can't be redirected to Kojiki.--十八 09:50, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- It is a pretty famous story in Japan. I believe that myths from the Kojiki are not made articles not because they are not important, but rather that people have not gotten around to make them. (East Asian mythology and folklore coverage can get quite spotty here on English Wikipedia). There are plenty of characters from the Kojiki that received articles, though. Back to the rabbit itself, it is notable because it plays a role in the Ōkuninushi myths, and it is revered as a god and worshipped in a shrine. - I'm not sure I'd really be qualified. I've played all the game sans IaMP and SWR, though I'm not sure how to describe the gameplay between the various games, and have no knowledge of any development info. Besides that, I know little about the actual plots. Looking at Mountain of Faith as an example, I'm uncertain that I'd be able to contribute anything substantial for future articles (or even to the existing ones, since I've never edited any of them substantially if I remember correctly). As for the White Hare, I'll agree now that an article seems worthwhile.--十八 12:46, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- That's too bad then, I could use some help since I had been doing this alone for the past few years...! (Going at a painfully slow rate of 2 new Touhou articles per year) I also plan to make articles for the two official Touhou manga series and finally rewrite a portion of the Touhou Project article, so who knows when I'll finish! =D _dk (talk) 22:23, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I see you reverted my removal of her images in some articles. I suppose an example of an anime-style drawing of the fashion in question in miko, japanese school uniform, and Gothic Lolita is okay for now. You're right that there's no need to mention it's Wikipe-tan at all and therefore it's okay. I also kept her image at baro't saya since that's the only image there, and moe anthropomorphism is one of the few places it would be appropriate to actually mention Wikipe-tan. The one revision of yours I was going to contest was the image at fan service but I see someone already undid that. Wikipe-tan in this case is not part of a fictional storyline or anything so it really has nothing to do with the topic, unlike the fashion articles where she's actually wearing the said fashion. The one thing I ask is, if a better example of a free anime/culture image of one of those fashion styles becomes available, would you mind if it was replaced with the Wikipe-tan image? It would be nice to have an image mentioned in the text of those "anime/culture" sections, although that may be hard since most of them are copyrighted. LonelyMarble (talk) 21:33, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- The bikini Wikipe-tan, I admit, isn't really fanservice since it is not from a piece of fiction servicing its fans, but then I saw the caption that was there and thought, "well, that might work". Then I saw someone reverted me for being OR, which I agree to, so I left it alone. I wouldn't mind if free anime images replaces the Wikipe-tan images, though I don't really think it is necessary other than readers wondering what is up with that girl who dyed her hair blue and put puzzle pieces in her hair. _dk (talk) 21:49, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

- Yeah, the reason these Wikipe-tan images exist in the first place is because people wanted anime art in those articles but cannot use copyrighted characters. I agree that the image should relate to what is being described by the adjacent text as much as possible, but sometimes we'll just have to make do with what we have. _dk (talk) 22:37, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Look what I did to Han Dynasty. It is basically now a gigantic five-partite summary of five other sub or branch articles dealing with the Han: History, Society and Culture, Government, Economics, and Science and Technology (with the main articles given proper links at the head of each section). How was it the wrong game? Are you implying that the butterflies, pink outfits and fairy wings are only in Kessen or something? If so, I've never played Kessen so I can't say. As a major contributor to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, I thought you'd want to know that that article is currently under going a Good Article Reassessment as part of the GA Sweeps.
