[edit] Orange list

Hey, check this out! I got the script new, today, shiny out-of-the-box (like my new iPhone!) - you, too, can have this... see User:Plastikspork/monobook.js/script.js for more... Oh, and any !voting or comments on Orange/ John Wark FAC would be good! The Rambling Man (talk) 18:13, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Looks like I'm a few hours ahead of you :) I was just being very safe—I saw what happened with automated scripts and date delinking and don't want to go unilaterally putting my preference on all articles especially seeing as the previous version was MOS compliant. I'll try and get round to commenting on those two candidacies soon, though it might not be tonight. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 18:19, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
No worries. I think that particular script works quite well, at least on reformatting dates. MOS seems to state that, as long as format of dates in references are consistent with each other, and as long as format of dates within the main article are consistent with each other (and not necessarily the same as those in references), we have a winner. The script seems to correctly unify formats throughout. Take it easy. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:31, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Updated DYK query On June 26, 2009, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Marion Coakes, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

[edit] Flags again

[1] Dabomb87 (talk) 14:33, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

P.S. I'll get to that peer review today or tomorrow. Dabomb87 (talk) 14:33, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
Done for now, but I'll be back. Dabomb87 (talk) 15:54, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
I've done your comments, but for the flag issue I notice this went down badly with F1 people, and currently the MOS actually mentions use of 3 letter abbreviations. I'll keep an eye on things however because not accepting 3 letter abbr. would have lots of potential changes, especially give how widely {{flag}} seems to talk about them. [edit] copyvio

Hah, sorry about that! I copied a few paragraphs across with the idea that I'd cut them down, reword them etc into something useable in the article.. and then left them in the final draft like a mug. I've blanked the text and the copyvio template both, and I sincerely apologise for any trouble it caused. Ironholds (talk) 14:14, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Chairman

Oh, thanks. We've had a bit of vandalism there in recent weeks, so I've been on alert. --Dweller (talk) 15:36, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] BBC SPOTY

I would strongly recommend you immediately list List of BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards at WP:FLRC or risk a speedy removal of the bronze star. The content and structure is now drastically different (i.e. the article has over doubled in size) from that reviewed and promoted. As far as I'm concerned, this is the most constructive and sensible way forward given that those who supported the original FLC should be given a chance to reassess their viewpoint. Best regards. The Rambling Man (talk) 19:24, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm going to boldly do it myself. Hope that's alright with you. Dabomb87 (talk) 20:42, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
See here. Dabomb87 (talk) 20:51, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
That is fine. I wasn't deliberately trying to mislead people by waiting, I was just waiting for a name to settle on so the FLRC pages didn't have to be moved. Anyway that can easily be dealt with if necessary and hopefully all questions can be answered in one place now. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 22:20, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] List of Wario video games

It's been a few days, so I figured I'd drop a note on your talk page. I think I've met your concerns about the accuracy of the references in the FLC for List of Wario video games (Nomination). Feel free to take a look over the nomination -- thanks for noticing my mistakes. -- Nomader (Talk) 19:38, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
